Meet Your Dietitian and Owner of Vital Nutrition Counseling!

Vital Nutrition Counseling is located in Downtown Columbia, MS next to the courthouse. Vital Nutrition Counseling was started by Kimberly Cruz who is passoniate about nutrition and making lifestyle changes to help people on their journey with food. Kimberly is a native of Columbia and saw the prevalance of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes in Mississippi. We believe through nutrition education and guidance we can change the outcome of Mississippi’s current health crisis but starting with home base.

VISITS and FEES

Sessions can be in-person or virtual.

The number of sessions that you schedule is a personal decision and should be specific to your needs. The mission is to meet you where you are and provide the education and tools to change the outcome of your health!

Self-Pay Fees:

• Initial 1-hour visit: $115

• Follow-up 30 minutes: $65

  *January 1st our self-pay service fees have increased!

We Accept Insurance! Currently in network

We do accept insurance to cover nutrition counseling! If you have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, gestational diabetes, or cardiovascular disease we WILL need a REFERRAL from your doctor.
